Attorney with more than 28 years of experience in litigation in the areas of tax criminal law and constitutional amparo proceedings, with a solid track record in strategic legal advisory for companies nationwide.
He holds a strong academic background: a Law degree from the Autonomous University of Chihuahua and a Master’s degree in Administration and Public Policy from the same institution. He has further specialized in strategic litigation of tax and financial crimes, as well as in constitutional litigation through amparo proceedings.
His international training includes diploma programs in legal research within the accusatory criminal system with a focus on oral trials, completed in Mexico and Spain, as well as various courses and certifications in the criminal justice system and oral litigation, including training provided by international organizations such as USAID-PRODERECHO.
Professionally, he has held key roles as founding partner of the international firm Lex&Solutions (Mexico Section) and senior partner at MACZ Abogados. He has also been actively involved in the training of legal professionals as a university lecturer and as an instructor for Public Prosecutor’s Office agents in the accusatory criminal system in the state of Chihuahua.
He is currently also a partner and co-founder of Castellanos Advisory Lawyers, where he leads the tax criminal law, financial crimes, and amparo litigation practices.
